Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works the great charm that Italian art of the 20th century could exert on him is evident, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs dedicated entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi's artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and radio and television stations. Among the most notable events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome, the solo show at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi.
The Maestro's paintings have been used for about six years as scenery for the GEO program on Rai 3.
His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
