Beautiful original color lithograph by Louis Toffoli (1907-1999), depicting a view of the Grand Canal of Venice with the Santa Maria della Salute basilica, gondolas in the foreground and the characteristic façades of the Serenissima.

Numbering: 124/150 (inscribed in pencil at bottom left)
Signature: hand-signed in pencil by the artist at bottom right
Dimensions with frame: 93 × 72 cm
Condition: very good overall condition
An authenticity certificate is present on the back, stating that each print was signed and numbered by the artist and that the plates were destroyed after the printing of this edition.

Louis Toffoli, born in Trieste in 1907 and died in Paris in 1999, is a Franco-Italian painter and lithographer renowned for his personal figurative style, merging the softness of forms with luminous colors. His lithographs, issued in limited editions, have been distributed in the most prestigious Parisian galleries. A museum has been dedicated to him in Charenton-le-Pont. His works appear in numerous public and private collections across Europe.
