Signed and blind stamped. Edition 11 of 200, printed on 210 g/m2 Fujifilm Fine Art professional paper.

Shipped well packaged.

Dutch photographer Gijsbert Hanekroot (Brussels, 1945) started his career in 1969 and worked for magazines and newspapers in the 1970s. His career as a photojournalist fits in perfectly with the explosion of the rock scene and he masterfully documented this golden age of music history - and photographed many of the greatest icons of the time.
Gijsbert strived to capture images that revealed the man behind the musician. Trying to express a deeper truth about his subjects resulted in portraits that are natural and intimate, relaxed and sincere.
The photographer is represented by, among others, Blitz Gallery, Tokyo, Blue Lotus Gallery, Hong Kong, Mondo Galeria, Madrid, Proud Galleries, London, ONO- Arte, Bologna, The Music Photo Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, and Tone & Image Gallery, Schiedam, Netherlands.
