Description from the seller
"Mushrooms" is a still life made in the photographer Ursula van de Bunte's studio. It concerns a print on Canson Fibre Rag. The size of the photo is 18x26 cm and it concerns the fourth edition of twelve copies. The photo is framed in an antique old frame without glass. The overall artwork size is: 45x38 cm. Because of its fragility the package is well packed and insured for shipment.
In Van de Bunte's still lifes, everyday objects take on a new role. They are detached from use and function and appear as pure forms: still, present, almost fragile. Through the soft light, the sober composition and the attention to skin, scale, glass and ceramics a hushed world arises in which time slows down. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio housed in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries and at art fairs.
