Description from the seller
This screen print was created by the artist Han Jansen. His breakthrough came with the so-called cow paintings, works inspired by the Groningen landscape. After several exhibitions in the Netherlands at the end of the sixties, Jansen exhibited in 1971 in Washington and in 1973 in London and Ghent. At the end of 1974 followed a retrospective at the Arnhem Museum, which marked his definitive artistic breakthrough. This work is characteristic of the period and style that brought him fame.
