Description from the seller
Cecile Perra is a French visual artist, known for her colorful and imaginative works in which painting, collage, and textiles come together. In her oeuvre she combines a range of materials such as fabrics, old paper, photographs, embroidery, and oil paint into poetic compositions full of memory and imagination. Her work often evokes nostalgia and recalls the free, unguarded world of childhood. With expressive forms and playful figures, Perra creates a recognizable visual language in which mythical beings, doll-like characters, and dreamy scenes are central. In addition to paintings, she also creates objects and textile sculptures, where her love of craft and experimentation is clearly visible.
Unframed size: 40 x 40 cm
The work is on display in our gallery. Furthermore, Art Dumay operates a framing shop (this year marking their 85th anniversary) and a restoration studio. So if you would like to make use of these services, we would of course be pleased to hear from you.
