Eleonora Stol (1946–2022), All together, an original work from 2021 in mixed media (35 × 35 cm), hand-signed, from the Netherlands, sold by Galerie, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Eleonora Stol (1946–2022) was a Dutch artist best known for her expressive, colorful, and emotionally charged paintings and graphic works. She was born in Leiden and studied at the Vrije Academie in The Hague, and later worked for a long time from Amsterdam. Her artist name was also sometimes “La Roja,” referring to her preference for strong colors, with red as a recurring theme in her life and work.
Stol’s work is characterized by vibrant color, dynamic forms, and an intuitive painting style in which passion, love, dance, and dream imagery play a major role. She often used mixed techniques, including acrylic, oil paint, and pencil, giving her works a rich, textured feel that directly appeals to emotion. Her art is described as lively, energetic, and full of movement, almost as if the canvases “breathe.”
Dimensions of the work: 35 x 35 cm
The piece has some dirt at the bottom (see photo)
The work is viewable in our gallery. Furthermore, Art Dumay operates a framing workshop (this year they celebrate their 85th anniversary) and a restoration studio. So if you would like to use these services, we would of course be happy to hear from you."}
