Montblanc StarWalker Metal & Rubber, model StarWalker Metal & Rubber, material Composito, serial BS1944261, country of origin Germany, period Fine XX century, length 14 cm, diameter 1.3 cm, in excellent condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
In this section we introduce Montblanc’s contemporary design authority: the StarWalker Metal & Rubber. This version represents one of the most iconic and tactile declinations of the entire StarWalker collection, departing from classic resin to embrace an industrial, modern, and decidedly urban aesthetic. The combination of a soft black rubber surface with the underlying metal lattice creates a magnetically tactile contrast, offering a secure grip and a writing experience that is both authoritative and comfortable.
The design features a complex diamond-cut engraving, revealing a platinum-plated metal grid beneath the black matte rubber coating. This geometric motif not only gives the object extraordinary visual depth but also highlights its architectural modernity. As with every prestigious StarWalker, at the top of the cap sits the Montblanc white star emblem, appearing to float in space inside a transparent resin dome, a technical detail that remains the maison’s seal of innovation in the 2026 market.
The finishes, including the sculpted clip and center rings, are entirely platinum-plated, ensuring a level of shine that withstands time and daily use. Absolute originality is confirmed by the sharp engravings on the clip ring, where the individual serial number and the German manufacturing inscription are shown. From the images of the disassembled piece, one can see the solidity of the internal mechanics and the current presence of a Monteverde USA-compatible refill, testimony to a tool ready for use and perfectly maintained in its structural components.
The condition of the piece is excellent, with the rubber surface maintaining its integrity without signs of melting or pronounced abrasions, a problem common in less well-kept items. Only very slight, honest signs of use on the shiny metal parts are noticeable, micro-hairlines invisible at a distance that do not undermine the pen’s aesthetic authority. It represents the ideal opportunity for the professional seeking a high-tech–looking accessory for representation, able to distinguish itself with discretion and character in any business setting.
