Arnaud Leturcq was born in France in 1961. He is a contemporary French painter, known mainly for his urban and marine landscapes painted in oil or acrylic and a highly expressive spatula technique.

He is linked to the Breton region, especially to places such as Ploubazlanec and Paimpol, recurring subjects in his work.

He primarily works in contemporary figurative painting, with scenes of ports, rural landscapes, historic towns and Mediterranean or Moroccan environments.

His works are usually executed with thick, material brushstrokes, using the spatula a lot and intense colors.
