Pair of brass doorstops "Britains Pride" from the early 20th century depicting sailors.

The cast brass doorstops depict Edwardian-era sailors: one with a telescope resting on a winch, the other with a cutlass and the ship's wheel in the background. Both bear the inscription "Britains Pride" on the base.
Use: Although designed to be heavy doorstops, they are also collected as decorative home objects or as bookends.
The level of detail and the shine of the metal testify to a quality craftsmanship, probably English.
