The schematized face is crowned by an interlacing of organic forms that simulate a floral diadem or textures created with great technical mastery through the bite of the acid on the matrix. The piece rests on an inferior landscape resolved through dense networks of horizon lines and subtle ochre and sepia tones provided by aquatint technique, yielding a lyrical and timeless atmosphere.

Throughout his career he cultivated a strong interest in symbolic and primitive forms, exhibiting his work in important centers and prestigious international institutions, such as the Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM) of the Dominican Republic or the Museo de Vitoria.
