Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A liquid compass in a brass and glass case by Sestrel (Henry Browne & Son) from the United Kingdom, dating to 1940–1950 and 1950–1960, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
An exceptionally beautiful liquid-filled compass in a stunning compass case. Both in very good condition.
Sestrel (a trade name of Henry Browne & Son). This was a prominent British maker of nautical instruments, known for their quality and precision.
In the side housing (the square projection) there is a small oil lamp (burner). This was used to illuminate the compass card at night, so the course remained visible in the dark.
The operation is still excellent.
Photos are part of the description.
The compass will be very well packed, insured and sent by registered mail with a track and trace code.
