The Francophone Belgian born in Antwerp was a poet, photographer, essayist, pamphlet and short-story writer, playwright, filmmaker, publisher and maker of collages, assemblages and Surrealist photographs. His work is represented in major European museum collections, such as Tate in London and MOMA in New York.
