Bruno Retaux (1947) - Bled au Maroc

Oil on panel measuring 27 x 35 cm, signed bottom right (or left) B Retaux, with the studio stamp on the back as well as an inventory number. It represents, as is often the case with Orientalist painters, a view of Morocco. The artist is noted as a friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel, two laureates of the Ab El tif prize for Orientalist painting in Algiers. Sold without a frame.
