Elio Luxardo - Rossana Podestà

This is an interesting vintage photograph of modest dimensions, 18x24 cm (about 7x9.45 inches) of the beautiful and famous Italian actress Rossana Podestà, a backstage portrait but dating from the filming period of the movie Sodom and Gomorrah, dated 1961.
Elio Luxardo, a great Italian portraitist who specialized in “faces and bodies,” as he claimed, signed some of the most beautiful portraits of actresses, actors, athletes, and various personalities, almost all in the Italian scene, and his photos are in museum collections and private collections around the world.
This is a genuine vintage photograph, duly stamped on the back by Luxardo himself, with his old stamp, and in addition there is his REAL signature on the front, in ink, not pre-stamped as was often the case with his photographs of famous actresses...
