Description from the seller
Title: Human Modules #5
Series: Where shapes reside
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
A vibrant and architectural piece that explores the complexity of human relationships and collective identity through sophisticated geometric abstraction. The composition presents an intricate network of interwoven color bands forming a grid, within which human profiles are integrated as silhouettes, some facing left and others right. This structure evokes the idea of a social fabric, a labyrinth of connections and encounters.
The use of color is bold and rhythmic: solid blocks of orange, pink, cobalt blue, black, and ochre overlap and cross over a neutral, warm background, creating a sense of depth and movement. The profiles, rendered in flat tones of blue, black, and pink, act as nodes in this network, symbolizing individuality within a larger framework and the ongoing dialogue between the “self” and the “other.”
Its aesthetics are clean, graphic, and with hard edges, grounding it in contemporary minimalism with influences from pop art and modern graphic design. The repetition of shapes and the vibrant color palette bring dynamic energy and universal legibility. This piece functions both decoratively, as a focal point of color and form, and conceptually, inviting reflection on identity, community, and interconnection.
The work is a visual celebration of diversity and interaction, where formal simplicity enhances a message of unity and human complexity.
The canvas is carefully rolled and securely packaged in a sturdy tube for shipping.
The images you are seeing now are examples of how the artwork may look when framed and hung on a wall.
