AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Young artist exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 on the occasion of the day dedicated to French Young Creation, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, performance are the languages he explores with strength and spontaneity.

This work is an oil painting on paper with highlights of oil pastels. The whole is a very "brutal", "raw-skinned", and "sensitive" piece, qualities typical of German figurative expressionism, the current within which the artist wholly situates himself.

The artwork will be shipped in a cardboard tube with bubble wrap, fast and careful delivery. It is also accompanied by an authenticity certificate signed by the artist, which will be emailed.

Figurative expressionism, Schiele, portrait, Munch, hands, anatomy, Kirchner
