Séverine Solcourt — "Wonder", 2022
The artist
Séverine Solcourt is a French artist born in France, active in the European contemporary art scene.
She completed her training at the Paris Art School and the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, subsequently developing a career that has led her to work between Rome, Milan and finally Île de Ré, where she lives and works today.
Her research focuses on figurative portraiture, with a language that blends collage, acrylic painting and photography, approaching, in some respects, the heritage of Pop Art, reinterpreted through a contemporary, material sensitivity.
She has exhibited in prominent galleries in France and Europe, including Xin Art Galerie (Île de Ré, France), Federson Galerie, Atelier Artsens Ibiza, Roca House Ibiza, and she participated in the group exhibition "Âmes Précieuses" (2017).
Her works are represented on the international platforms Artsy and Artsper.
