This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures in art, architecture, and visual culture.

In this piece, the letter G becomes a tribute to Antoni Gaudí, reinterpretating his unmistakable architectural language based on organic forms, fluid structures, and a deep connection with nature. The typography becomes a living sculpture that evokes the sinuous geometries characteristic of Catalan modernism.

The surface of the letter is constructed through a three-dimensional mosaic inspired by the trencadís technique, where irregular fragments of ceramic create a vibrant skin, rich in color and texture. Blues, turquoises, yellows, and ochres combine to recreate the Mediterranean essence present in many of Gaudí’s works.

The composition integrates biomorphic elements that suggest organic growth, reinforcing the idea of architecture as an extension of nature. The form flows continuously, without rigid lines, generating a sense of movement and structural harmony.

The work was created through a completely digital 3D process (CGI), handcrafted modeling with special attention to detail, materiality, and the interaction of light on the fractured surfaces, achieving a highly expressive and contemporary sculptural aesthetic.

The Artphabet has had broad international reach, being disseminated in numerous design, art, and visual culture media, establishing itself as one of the most prominent artistic typography projects in the recent digital sphere.
