Montblanc - StarWalker Extreme - Pen

At auction we present a piece with a strongly technical, bold, and cutting-edge character, reinterpreting the lines of contemporary writing: the Montblanc StarWalker Extreme Roller Pen. This model represents the most gritty and “industrial” evolution of the maison’s famous pocket-sized collection.

The design breaks with traditional patterns thanks to an extraordinary material study. The body and cap are made of fine black resin, surface-finished with an exclusive structured diamond texture that creates a three-dimensional geometric relief pattern. This particular finish not only delivers a modern, hi-tech visual impact, but also offers a unique tactile feel and an extremely stable anti-slip grip.

To contrast the dark texture are the imposing finishes plated in dark ruthenium (gun-barrel finish), visible on the squared clip and on the sturdy metal grip. The true distinguishing feature remains the famous transparent dome at the top of the screw-on cap, inside which the white star emblem floats, suspended in mid-air.

Being a Roller model, the pen delivers a smooth, continuous stroke; as documented by photos of the disassembled piece, the mechanism is intact and currently fitted with an original refill.

The conservation state is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The intricate diamond texture of the body is perfectly defined, free of dents, chipped resin, or abrasions. The dark ruthenium finishes retain their characteristic matte and mirror-like shine on the grip, showing only minimal, invisible micro-scratches resulting from the routine threading of the cap. The transparent dome is clear and free of opacity. To guarantee the total authenticity of the lot, the individual serial number is regularly engraved on the side of the clip’s loop.
