Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. His paintings, sculptures and drawings are all one of a kind, hand-crafted and have been sold internationally, with some making their way into the homes of Hollywood directors. His art is represented by the Saatchi Gallery, with regular auctions on Catawiki.
"Hangover" A cubist still life with two bottles and a glass, rendered in a restrained palette of gray, ochre, and terracotta. The geometrically fragmented forms of the vessels seem to lose their stability; the surfaces slip, angles multiply, and the space disintegrates into fragments. White contour lines trace the silhouettes with nervous precision, emphasizing the sense of a displaced reality. Heavy shadows and golden-bronze reflections create an atmosphere of a morning hungover light, sharp and simultaneously murky. Signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
