Description from the seller
This piece, which I've titled MICKEY MOUSE COMIC EXPLOSION, is my personal tribute to the iconic Mickey Mouse and the revolution that Pop Art brought to the art world. The sculpture is nothing less than a visual manifesto, where the pure form of Disney clashes with the aggressive aesthetics of comic books. I intentionally covered the body in a deep, high-gloss mirror black, creating a perfect contrast to the explosion of color and graphics on the head, ears, and base. It's a collision of elegance with the chaos of comic book panels, speech bubbles, and onomatopoeia. It reflects the dynamism and energy I see in street art and contemporary design.
For collectors, this is a top-tier Pop Art piece. The sculpture's style, based on the deconstruction and reinterpretation of pop culture icons using comic book frames, is a direct reference to the techniques of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Just as they used mass-produced images to create elite art, I use Mickey Mouse as a canvas for "Comic Explosion."
This work is a strictly limited edition, which contributes to its exceptional investment and collector value. The sculpture is sold with a certificate of authenticity, signed by me, guaranteeing its uniqueness.
Disney sculptures in the Street Art/Pop Art convention are globally among the most sought-after items. This figurine is not only a striking decorative element; it's a piece of contemporary art history. Its limited nature, its connection to a Disney icon, and its inspiration from the works of Pop Art masters make it an excellent investment with growth potential. MICKEY MOUSE COMIC EXPLOSION is pure, unbridled energy that will perfectly complement any luxury collection.
