Gaby Acevedo presents Mar - Bruma costera (XL), an original acrylic painting on canvas in abstract seascape style, measuring 120 cm by 40 cm (unmounted) with brown, beige, crema and blue–turquoise tones, signed by the artist in 2026 and protected with satin varnish, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
New contemporary abstract work, unique and original, belonging to my Sea (Seascape) series, inspired by the changing light and the serene atmosphere of the Mediterranean.
At the bottom of the composition I worked with acrylic and a spatula on a layering of browns, sand, and cream tones that evoke matter, warm earth, and the natural calm of the coastal landscape. In contrast, the sky opens up in shades of light blue, white, blue, and gray, adding depth, spaciousness, and luminosity to the piece.
A turquoise line runs across the composition, suggesting a subtle horizon where color and space dialogue in balance. With each layer and each painterly gesture I seek to convey a sense of contemporary calm and the silent beauty of what is essential.
