Deze Lithografie werd in beperkte oplage gedrukt bijgevoegd bij de eerste persing van het album Musique Barbare, de soundtrack die Appel creëerde bij een documentaire die over hem werd gemaakt.

"In 1961 Dutch cineast Jan Vrijman made a documentary about Appel, which featured the artist at work in his studio. For this film, Appel created the soundtrack, Musique Barbare, in studios in Utrecht and Hilversum. Like his paintings, the music was spontaneous and expressive, created by utilizing percussive instruments and electronic sound. On top of the flowing stream of energy Appel recited his theories on art – in his typical awkward English. The album was released on Philips in 1963 and came with a signed lithograph."
