"Three Pears" is a particularly beautifully refined still life printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag. The matte texture gives it a painterly appearance. The format is 24x30 with a small white border. It concerns the fourth edition of 12 copies.
In Ursula van de Bunte's still lifes, everyday objects take on a new role. They are detached from utility and use and appear as pure forms: quiet, present, almost vulnerable. Through the soft light, the sober composition and the attention to skin, vessel, glass and ceramics, a still world arises in which time slows down. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio located in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries and art fairs.
