Zippo 1935 Replica, made in October 1994 in the United States, stainless steel, one piece, in excellent condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
This Zippo lighter is a replica of the 1935 model, manufactured specifically in October 1994.
Year and Month Identification
The date is determined through the base's coding system:
Letter "J": To the left of the logo, indicates the month of manufacture, corresponding to October (A=January, B=February, etc.).
Roman numeral "X": To the right of the logo, represents the year 1994.
Model and Features
It is a 1935 Replica, recognizable by several distinctive details visible in its design and base:
Diagonal Lines (Slashes): It features the characteristic diagonal incisions in the corners, a trait typical of the original 1930s design that this version reproduces.
Shell Shape: Unlike the current standard model, this replica has a squarer and more massive silhouette, with flat surfaces and less rounded edges.
Base Seal: Includes the historical patent PAT 2032695, which was used originally between 1936 and 1950, but here is used to identify the model as a faithful reproduction of that era.
External Hinge: Generally, these 1935 replicas have a three-barrel hinge located on the exterior.
