A surreal (almost documentary) photograph from the English Channel project, depicting a mysterious and symbolic misty wall above the sea. Museum standart Chromogenic print. Edition number 8 of 30.
The English Channel project illustrates the new geopolitical landscape between UK and Europe while investigating concepts of memory, hope and the grey area between reality and fiction.
The print has an embossed artist stamp on recto and is signed & numbered on verso. The lot includes a signed & numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The print will be shipped flat, insured, protected in acid free materials in a super rigid packaging.
André Lichtenberg's work has been exhibited in numerous art fairs, museums and private galleries worldwide, including the Barbican Centre London in 1998, Centre Pompidou/IRCAM, Paris in 2015/16 and Fabrica, Brighton in 2018. His artworks are represented in numerous international art collections including a recent acquisition by the prestigious Joseph Cohen Family Collection in NY.
