Caperdonich distillery opened in 1898 and was completely demolished in 2011. This is among the last whisky it will ever produce — and the peated spirit is rarer still, distilled only briefly during the distillery's lifetime.
Nose: Sweet earthy peat, heather, honey, green apple, orange oil.
Palate: Soft smoke, baking spice, stewed apple, fudge, white chocolate.
Finish: Earthy, menthol, chocolate, barrel char.
Once gone, there will never be another. Box included. Excellent condition.
