Detailed description
Rare 10-piece collection of genuine Swiss briar pipes, all completely new from the period (New Old Stock / Unsmoked).
This exceptional lot comes from an old Swiss wholesaler stock. Never used, never smoked, these pieces have been kept away from light in their original box. Tobacco enthusiasts will appreciate Swiss craftsmanship, renowned for precision and robustness.
Provenance: Switzerland (old import/export stock).
Model / Shape: classic straight billiard shape, factory reference 605. A historic form, highly sought after for its excellent grip and perfect draw.
Material: high-quality genuine briar. Very clear hot-stamping "REAL BRIAR" on the shank. The bowl is clean, original, ready for a first cure.
Finish: period varnished finish ("Varnished Pipes" stamped on the box), highlighting the natural grain of the wood.
System: Equipped with a black vulcanite (ebonite) stem and their original retro needle-type metal filter.
Condition: New Old Stock (NOS). The pipes have remained pristine, individually protected under their original tissue paper. The cardboard box bears its authentic factory markings and stamps."
