Description from the seller
Marcello Lo Giudice (1955), internationally renowned artist, is considered one of the most interesting names in the new frontier of contemporary Informal. This work, dated 1981, belongs to the artist's early period, when, having moved to Milan, he experiments with a conceptual language through the use of mixed media and non-conventional materials. Here the interventions typical of his initial research are clearly recognizable, such as smoke-blackening and manual retouching that confer uniqueness and strong expressive impact. The work is made with mixed media on a lithographic base with manual interventions (retouché), signed and dated 1981 at the bottom right. Unnumbered edition, therefore to be considered a unique work. Dimensions of the work: 50 x 70 cm. Dimensions with frame: 54 x 74 cm. Conditions: the work is in generally good condition; there are some light, non-invasive foxing, compatible with age and technique. Careful packaging and fast, trackable shipping are guaranteed. Hand delivery in Milan is welcome.
