From below rises something ancient and precious. The dark, dense, almost mineral earth begins to yield to a silent explosion of gold leaves that multiply upward as if light itself were germinating from the ground. It’s not a landscape — it’s a process, a transformation taking place before the eyes in suspended time. Every centimeter of the canvas vibrates with living matter: the leaves accumulate, overlap, shine with varying intensity depending on how much light touches them. There is something profoundly autumnal and at the same time eternal in this work, as if the artist had frozen the exact instant in which nature decides to become gold before letting itself go.
