Mara. J XL - Born from the Dark

From the deepest black something unstoppable is born. Like the first light filtering through an ancient forest at dawn, the green emerges slowly, multiplies, lights up with golden reflections until it fills the canvas with a breath that seems alive. The leaves — or perhaps they are sparks, or memories — stack up in a silent crescendo that goes from darkness to brightness with the same natural ease with which the earth returns to bloom after winter. There is a primordial force in this work, a vitality that asks for no permission: gold does not decorate, it breaks in. Green does not describe a landscape, it evokes it from within, as if nature were painting itself from darkness toward light.
