Artwork description
“Seas of Ibiza” represents the luminous and immersive calm of an abstract marine landscape suspended between depth and light.
The artwork is built through translucent layers, mineral pigments and soft glazes that create a vibrational and ethereal atmosphere. Deep blues, turquoise tones and pearl whites merge together, generating a sensation of gentle movement, as if light were slowly passing through water.
In the lower area, organic abstract forms emerge, evoking underwater landscapes in transformation. Due to Carolina Bellachi’s distinctive technique, these structures appear to expand outward from the canvas through delicate reliefs and three-dimensional textures, creating an almost tactile and immersive sensation.
The upper light remains balanced and diffused, without overpowering the composition, allowing the artwork to preserve a contemplative, elegant and emotionally open atmosphere.
The contours remain intentionally soft and diffuse, encouraging an intuitive and spiritual experience in which each viewer projects their own inner perception.
⸻
Emergetism
Emergetism is a philosophical-artistic movement founded by Carolina Bellachi. It is based on the idea that the artwork acts as a mirror of the observer, generating an inner experience rather than a rational interpretation.
Through light, matter and depth, each artwork activates a perception where emotion and consciousness emerge directly.
