Historical notes
Founded in Dublin in 1865, Peterson is one of the world’s most important historic pipe manufacturers. The famous “Peterson System Pipe,” patented in the late 19th century, revolutionized pipe smoking by delivering a cooler, drier smoke.
Sterling silver-mounted versions have always represented the most elegant and collectible tier of Peterson’s production.
