This is a vintage white ship's lamp, also known as an anchor light with a Fresnel lens. Frans Schilbach was an active manufacturer of ship lamps until the end of World War II. After World War II, the city of Stettin was transferred to Poland (Szczecin). Like many other metal industries, after the war the activities of Frans Schilbach as a state-owned enterprise fell under the VEB. In Ueckermünde, 60 km northwest of Szczecin, the production of ship lamps was restarted and the company became VEB Schiffslaternenwerk Uekermünde.

Dit is een vintage witte scheepslamp die ook wel bekend staat als een ankerlicht met een Fresnel-lens.Frans Schilbach was tot het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog een actieve fabrikant van scheepslampen. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd de stad Stettin overgedragen aan Polen (Szczecin). Net als veel andere metaalindustrieën vielen na de oorlog de activiteiten van Frans Schilbach als staatsbedrijf onder de VEB. In Ueckermünde, 60 km ten noordwesten van Szczecin, werd de productie van scheepslampen opnieuw opgestart en veranderde het bedrijf in VEB Schiffslaternenwerk Uekermünde.
