Renata Giannelli presents the self-supporting sculpture Donna Cuore (2026), a metal wire and hemp-paper pulp work with gold leaf and plaster, illuminated by 120 LED points and measuring 24 cm wide, 70 cm high, and 13 cm deep, hand-signed, in excellent condition, weighing 4 kg, shipped directly from the artist in rigid packaging with a certificate of authenticity and USB-powered lighting for domestic or gallery display.
Description from the seller
Light sculpture made through an intertwining of tangled iron wire, pierced by 120 LED light points that animate its inner structure. On the metal weave, hemp fiber paper pulp was cast, which, during the drying and oxidation process, generated an irregular and vibrant surface, rich in material stratifications and transparencies. The pedestal is carved from the root of a tree.
The light, filtering through solids and voids, builds a mutable pattern of shadows and reflections, transforming the sculpture into a living and atmospheric presence.
The project arises from the meeting of two seemingly antithetical elements: iron — cold, rigid and structural — and paper — soft, warm and fragile. From their fusion a new expressive matter takes shape, organic and metamorphic, in which the hardness of the metal is progressively softened by the presence of the fiber, while the paper gains strength and plastic tension.
The structure is self-supporting. The LED lighting is powered via USB output, allowing versatile placement both in domestic environments and exhibition spaces. It is shipped in rigid packaging and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
