Artist's biography:
Mario Bonamici was an artist born in Paris in 1912 and who died in Lausanne in 2002. Coming from a family of Italian painters and whose parents moved to France in 1910, he began drawing and painting at a very young age. From the age of sixteen, he attended the École des Arts Décoratifs and debuted at the famous Jarach and Chambry workshop as an illustrator. He moved in the worlds of fashion, theater, and cinema. His brilliant pencil stroke drew attention and he dedicated part of his professional life in France and Switzerland as a fashion designer in parallel to his career as a painter.
