Iconic comedian of the theater and cinema, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers beside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort or Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous, and deeply humane body of work. His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a profoundly humane gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity. A complete artist, each painting tells a story and moves with its authenticity.
