Description from the seller
30x40 cm
Unique piece on 300g art paper
unframed
2026
Since 2018, Warren Podguszer, known by the pseudonym Wawapod, has immersed himself in the Pop Art and street art universe in Paris, developing a unique style that fuses geometry and popular iconography. His work stands out for reusing iconic symbols through accumulations of dots, paying homage to art history and to popular figures he admires.
His works often have an initial abstract reading that becomes figurative depending on the distance from which they are viewed. He likes the idea that every person who observes his works does not necessarily see the same thing, but above all he enjoys playing with the observer’s eye.
By diverting certain masterpieces, he aims to make them rediscovered by the public and invites them to explore art history in a playful, modern, and democratic way.
Possibility to collect the artwork in the Paris region.
This work is a unique piece and signed by hand on the back and the front by the artist.
Technique: Aerosol paint and acrylic on paper.
Wawapod is a Parisian artist and street artist who holds exhibitions across the country. His works are presented in several galleries in France and Europe.
WAWAPOD belongs to the same artistic current as: Jacques Villeglé, Invader, Jef Aerosol, Speedy Graphito, Vhils, Banksy, Mr. Brainwash, Obey (Shepard Fairey), Onemizer, C215, Basquiat, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol and Jerome Mesnager."} }{
