Tinus van Bakel (1939–2020) was a Dutch artist, born in Eindhoven and died in Schilde, Belgium. As a self-taught artist, he developed a unique style that combined elements of both organic forms and geometric structures. His work was characterized by colorful, strange creatures that populated their own world.
Van Bakel lived and worked in several cities, including Paris, Melun, Pavia, Heidelberg, and ultimately Antwerp. His artworks are found in various private collections and museums.
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore, we make use of restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to use this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
