Leporello Nicolas II Emperor of Russia - Russian Army, Cavalry (accordion booklet), 12 lithographs, self-published, undated (circa 1900), 9 × 12.8 cm.
Complete leporello written in French and devoted to the Cavalry of the Russian Army, dating from the era of Tsar Nicholas II. Lithographs on the cover and back and 12 lithographed cards with descriptions on the back.
- Cover: color lithograph of Tsar Nicholas II on horseback with the Kremlin in the background, titled "Nicolas II Emperor of Russia".
- Back: heraldic illustration, titled "Russian Army, Cavalry" grouping military attributes (armor, standards, weapons).
- Continuous frieze of 12 color lithographs depicting the different elite corps.
On the back of each card, a descriptive notice in French (regimental history, strengths, precise uniform details).
Good used condition. The lithographs retain bright, fresh colors. Natural patina of the paper.
Visible traces of the original adhesive.
