Description from the seller
Dieter Eckert (1939-2007) - Abstract Composition - Color Etching - Signed - 29/99
This colorful, abstract composition by the German artist Dieter Eckert is a color aquatint on handmade rag paper. It shows an assembly of organic and geometric shapes in a palette of earth tones, mustard yellow, blue and white. Several colorful ink splashes and small red dot accents enliven the composition. Five small vertical blue lines with dots form a characteristic element.
The artwork is hand-signed by Dieter Eckert at the lower edge ('D. Eckert') and carries the edition number '29/99'.
It is housed in a simple dark blue wooden frame that shows signs of age (see detail photos). The artwork itself shows slight foxing but is overall well preserved. Reframing would enhance the sheet.
