Press Start dives into the visual universe of digital nostalgia, blending references from pop culture, classic video games and urban aesthetics into an intense and fragmented composition. The presence of recognizable icons from collective childhood contrasts with the human gaze at the center of the work, creating a tension between memory, identity and contemporary reality.

Inspired by the visual language of retro video games and the image saturation of the digital era, the piece transforms playful elements into emotional symbols of a generation raised among screens, virtual characters and constant stimuli. Hione is a visual artist from Porto who, since 2013, has used graffiti as his main form of expression. With a visual language marked by vibrant colors and defined shapes, his work reflects a strong connection to urban culture. Over the years, he has developed a unique style that fuses graffiti, contemporary art, illustration and graphic design. He presents his works in public and private contexts, with the aim of provoking reflection and inspiring. Today he continues to explore new figurative approaches and to deepen the impact of his art on the space around him.
