Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one can note the great fascination that 20th-century Italian art has been able to exert on him, with masterful influences such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there have been more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs dedicated entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi's artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and TV and radio stations. Among the most significant events are the great exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palace of Culture in Reggio Calabria; and BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi.
The Maestro's paintings have been used for about 6 years as set designs for the GEO program on Rai 3.
His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
