AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one can notice the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century has been able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and numerous artistic events, among which TV programs entirely dedicated to him. The Maestro Rolfi’s artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and by television and radio stations. Among the events of greatest importance is the great exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the exhibition at the Dopmiziano museum in Rome, the solo show at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as the set designs for the GEO program on Rai 3. His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.

Oil painting and mixed media on primed canvas panel.

The work is a seascape, one of the Landscapes of Memory. The piece is supplied with an Authenticity Certificate signed and stamped and shipped by FedEx.
