Robert Capa, pseudonym of Endre Ernő Friedmann (Budapest, Hungary), 22 October 1913 – Thai Binh, Vietnam, 25 May 1954, was a 20th-century Hungarian war correspondent and photojournalist. He left Hungary at the age of 17. He traveled around the world in search of the best moments for his camera. This took him to Mexico, Italy, France, Japan, Indochina, Vietnam, Israel, England, or North Africa.
