Description from the seller
A0000003967
The Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand 166 is presented in very good overall condition, showing a notable level of conservation for a writing instrument of its era.
The precious burgundy resin retains a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. Only micro-surface signs of use are visible, observable only upon close inspection and consistent with careful handling, which do not affect at all the aesthetics or the function.
The gold-plated metal elements — clip and rings — are in very good condition, with original shine and no plating loss, showing only light signs of handling normal for a vintage item.
The Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap is complete, well centered, and without any missing parts. The engraving of the central band “Montblanc – Meisterstück” remains sharp and perfectly legible.
The rollerball system functions correctly, with a firm cap closure and smooth writing (refill included subject to availability).
Overall, this is a very well-preserved piece, ideal for daily use as well as for collection.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
