Suzanne Visser (1972) - Gezicht

Suzanne was born on March 23, 1972 in Oostburg. After her studies at the St. Maria Academy in Antwerp (fashion design and illustration) she completed her studies at the St. Joost Art Academy in Breda. In 1996 she graduated as an illustrator. Thereafter she worked as an illustrator and graphic designer. Over time illustrating gave way to painting on canvas, partly due to the many positive reactions. The artist has had the opportunity to exhibit her versatile artworks at several locations. Across the entire oeuvre, a clear development is visible. The paintings are taking on an increasingly mythical, almost spiritual depth. If you look at the paintings for a long time, you will repeatedly discover new details and hidden messages. Sometimes her work is restrained and contemplative, sometimes exuberant and humorous. Some paintings appear more traditional and others are true power explosions.
