Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Contemporary StarWalker fountain pen with a black resin body, 14K gold nib (Au585), cap with a platinum-plated clip, 14 cm long and 1.1 cm in diameter, made in Germany, dating to 2000–2010, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
The pen is presented in very good overall condition, standing out for excellent maintenance both aesthetically and functionally. The body in black precious resin preserves a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks or structural damage, showing only light micro-scratches from use consistent with careful and infrequent handling.
The cap maintains a firm and precise fit, with the platinum-plated clip in good condition, with no deformations and proper tension. The metal details preserve their original finish, showing only minimal signs of handling practically imperceptible to the naked eye.
The textured section shows very light wear, maintaining its non-slip character and providing excellent ergonomics in use. This type of finish usually reveals use before other surfaces, but in this case it is in very satisfactory condition.
The 14K gold nib (Au585) is in good structural condition, with no visible deformations, correct alignment, and preserving its smooth and fluid writing ability. The feeding system works properly, ensuring a steady ink flow.
The piece has been inspected and serviced, ensuring proper operation for immediate use.
Overall, it is a well-preserved fountain pen, with normal signs of use but fully maintaining its aesthetic and functional qualities, ideal for both daily use and collection within the contemporary StarWalker line.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. In case of prolonged non-use, clean with warm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently to preserve proper function.
It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
