Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Montblanc StarWalker Doué fountain pen with a resin/polyester body and stainless steel cap, 14 cm long and 1.2 cm in diameter, made in Germany between 2000 and 2010, in good used condition and in working order with a 14 karat gold nib.
Description from the seller
A0000004212
The pen presents itself in very good overall condition, showing remarkable preservation both aesthetically and functionally.
The body in black resin maintains excellent shine and uniformity, with light micro signs of use typical of a previously used piece, barely perceptible to the naked eye and not at all affecting its visual presence. No cracks, dents, or deformations are observed.
The platinum-plated metal cap, characteristic of the Doué version, is in very good condition, preserving its original satin finish with minimal superficial marks derived from normal use. The clip shows good tension and correct alignment.
The metal finishes (rings and terminals) maintain a good general state, with light signs of handling but without significant material loss or relevant deterioration.
The floating Montblanc emblem on the top remains clean and well defined, with no cracks or damage, maintaining its characteristic visual effect.
The 14-karat gold nib is in very good condition, with no visible deformations, with correct alignment and ready to offer smooth writing. The pen has been inspected and tested, guaranteeing proper functioning.
Overall, it is a very well-preserved piece, with light signs of use consistent with its nature, which do not affect either its aesthetics or its performance.
Conservation recommendations
To keep the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specific for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, perform periodic cleanings with lukewarm water if not used for a period, dry it completely before storing and keep it in a dry place, without direct exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures. It is advised to operate the filling system gently.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper conservation.
